James R. Barnhard has a passion for liberating the grotesque virtually and its here he’s found deliverance in letting his soul bleed. His lines are carved with the precision of a surgeon’s blade while his imagination twists the work as far as the minds eye can reach. Unlike a back street butcher, true madmen aren’t mad at all but know the well of woe from which they pull, thus divinity and damnation walk a fine line.

James is proficient as an artist, leveraging his computer skills and use of photography for outstanding illustrations and designs. As an experienced graphics designer, he has created numerous illustrations for cover art in addition to designing layouts for marketing, websites and national magazines. His work is professional, the quality is outstanding and he focuses on effectively delivering a specific message to targeted audiences.

James has extensive experience in graphic design and layout, beginning his career in 1994 as an Art Director for Pit Magazine, then, designing book covers over the last several years for Dorchester Publishing. His expertise in web design has a solid foundation in strong writing and graphic design skills with an expert understanding of how to most effectively define key messages and educate your target audience.
